In addition to Deerfield Seminars normal full-day Wage-Hour & FMLA Seminars, we also occasionally schedule mini-workshops focusing upon the Fair Labor Standards Act and related state laws only. Features of these workshops include:

• Compressed schedule. We begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude the formal presentation by 2:30 p.m.. You can attend without having to spend an overnight or leave at 5:00 a.m., even if you are located several hours from where the program is being presented. In addition, elimination of the normal 10-15 minute mid-morning and mid-afternoon break and limitation of lunch to 45 minutes further means you still get nearly a full-day presentation and still can get home in time for dinner with your family.

• Significantly reduced fee. We charge a competitive $285-$345 for most of our full-day presentations. Since we only promote these mini-workshops with the postcard mailing you received, that dramatically cuts our cost of seminar promotion - a cost item which usually accounts for more than half of our total costs for most programs. Thus, our charge for these workshops is less than half our normal fee.

These programs are scheduled with very short notice. We mail promotional materials for most programs two months prior to the presentation. With these mini-workshops you are probably getting barely one months notice, if that - so don't delay!
